FORUM FOR YOUNG CANADIANS
Meeting parliamentarians where the decisions get made.
- Visit the Senate and House of Commons and the Speakers of each chamber as well as the Clerks and Pages.
- Enjoy breakfast at the Senate with Senators.
- Attend our reception, where MPs are invited to come meet and engage with participants.
The Forum Experience: The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau came to two events in 2016!
- Visit Rideau Hall, the residence of the Governor General.
The Forum Experience: In 2017, participants met the Governor General His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston during their tour of Rideau Hall!
All sessions are unique with different stakeholders in attendance at each. We cannot guarantee who will be there during your session.
Be a part of exciting simulations over the course of the week to understand how change happens.
- Be a part of a full Election Simulation.
- Attend a Cabinet Simulation where each participant becomes a Cabinet Minister and must defend their ministry’s point of view when discussing a topic.
- Be a part of a World Trade Simulation.
- Attend a Provincial-Federal Conference Simulation.
The simulations are constantly being updated and may be different during your session.
