Under pressure from the Opposition parties in the House of Commons and the Canadian public in general, the Liberal Party has decided to expand the membership of their proposed democratic reform committee.

The recent community mailing indicated the Liberals had a majority on this committee which was correct at the time of mailing.

There still has not been any commitment to hold a referendum on any proposed changes.
